Getting Down to the Basics | Wedding Decor
For a lot of 2023/24 brides, your wedding planning journey has just begun. It’s no secret that you have to make a lot of decisions, so let’s cover the basics.
Seating
Seating is a great area to start your planning process. It may not seem like the most exciting detail of your event, but it is one of the most important. Thinking about seating encourages you to figure out your guest list (two birds with one stone). After deciding how many people you are going to invite, make sure you have enough seating for all those people throughout the ceremony and reception. The style of chair you choose is also a great way to accent a theme or venue.
Lounge Seating
Believe it or not, people want to take a break from dancing sometime throughout the night. Apart from general chairs to sit in throughout the event, a lounge is a fun way to add practical decor.
Lighting
Lighting truly creates the mood for the entire event. Add some string lights and dim those overheads. Your guests will thank you by breaking out their dance moves on the dance floor.
Intimate Decor
Trust us, renting those extra tables in different varieties are worth it. Extra highboys and long tables can be used for your most intimate decor. A memorial table, guest book sign in, or a cake table are some extra decor details that won’t go unnoticed. Get some pretty linens and a nice long/tall table and show off the more intimate bits. Speaking of linens, well…you’ll just have to wait for the next blog 😉
